Well...here it goes!
1. I am named after my father which is so appropriate.
2. I cannot appreciate people that cannot be of their word.
3. I like to know a little bit about a lot of stuff. I think that it is important.
4. I cannot stand women that do not respect their place as a woman.
5. My middle name is my mother’s first name and that my first name was a challenge to my parents. I did not have a name for 3 days.
6. Almost 3 years ago I packed my car up with all the stuff that would fit in and couldn’t live without and moved across the country with a friend. Atlanta has been pretty good.
7. When I lost my father, I excused myself from friends for a while. I just didn’t want to talk and it has had a negative spin. It is very easy to be negative and often a little harder to be positive. I succumb to the negative sometimes but try to find a way to pass through it. There are so many things to be thankful for in life. The simple things like waking up and being able to breath, walk, see or hear all on my own. I have often found myself concerned about what I do not have or cannot do. I lose sight of the little things.
8. I attended the illustrious Fisk University because of Coach King and my HS English teacher Mrs. Jackson who also attended Fisk University.
9. I think that it is necessary to have a little ho about yourself but everything in moderation.
10. I have a hard time smiling through pain and not showing my emotions on my face. I hope that this is something that I will grow out of a bit in my 30s but I do not see it happening anytime soon. I am going to work on controlling it better.
